About My Impatiens Plants

Busy Lizzy is a good name for them. They are constantly making flowers. They are called Impatiens, as that is the Latin word for “Impatient”. They are so anxious to make flowers, it says, that if you even touch a bud, it will pop open. This is the most popular bedding plant in North America. I have dozens of the mixed variety planted in the pot with my Hibiscus tree and it’s beautiful to see. That was my Honey’s idea to try. It turned out amazing. They also adorn the planters hanging on our patio railing. While picking up a flat of the mixed, I saw this one alone and had to get it. It’s an Apricot Impatiens.
